The Montréal Canadiens signed defenseman Owen Protz to a three-year, entry-level contract (2026-27 to 2028-29).

The Laval Rocket signed forward Josh Nadeau to a one-year, one-way AHL contract (2026-27). He also signed a professional tryout contract for the remainder of the season. (March 25)
